Google Form — Photo Submission (Classroom-ready Instructions)

Create a new Google Form and use these settings and fields.

Form settings:
- Collect email addresses: ON
- Restrict to users in your organization: OPTIONAL
- Allow responders to upload files: ON
- Destination for uploads: choose the shared Yearbook Drive folder
- Response destination: Create a linked Google Sheet (Year12_PhotoResponses)

Fields (in order):
1) Student full name — Short answer (required)
2) Student ID — Short answer (required)
3) Student email — Short answer (required)
4) Which photo are you submitting? — Multiple choice (Senior portrait / Baby photo / Event photo / Other) (required)
5) Upload photo — File upload (accept: jpg, png; max size 10MB) (required)
6) Photographer name — Short answer (optional)
7) Consent for publication — Multiple choice (Yes / No) (required)
8) Caption / notes — Paragraph (optional)

Advanced steps for editors (recommended):
- In the linked Sheet, add columns for `Assigned Editor`, `Approval Status`, and `Drive File Link`.
- Use the Form's File Upload folder in Drive to create a subfolder per student (manual step).
- Set up email notifications for new submissions (use Tools > Notification rules in the linked Sheet).

Copy this instruction file into the templates folder and paste links to the created Form and Sheet into the classroom Google Doc.
