This lesson spans 2 Days. Suggested pacing:

Day 1Diagnosing & Starting the RemixDo Now (5 min, above). Mini-lesson (10 min): review typography and layout principles from Grade 9. Independent remix, part 1 (25 min): choose an earlier project and begin redesigning its typography/layout. Save progress (5 min).
Day 2Finishing & ComparingDo Now (5 min). Independent remix, part 2 (30 min): finish the redesign, applying at least 2 new typography techniques. Peer compare (10 min): share a before/after comparison with a partner.

Before/after comparison scored with a rubric: at least 2 specific typography improvements, clearly explained.

Exit Ticket: Name one typography technique you used in your remix that you hadn't used before.

🧩 Differentiation & Accommodations

English Language Learners: provide translated or bilingual glossaries, visuals, and sentence frames; pair with a peer for meaningful participation.
